I really like magpies, so the magpie griffin is a welcome sight! The bird feet on this guy are amazing as well!

Would you be interested in doing a tutorial on how you make these glorious creatures?

sorry, I can answer a question or two, but prefer to keep my methods unique to me. Selling these helps pay my bills, and i just don't have time. Really all you need to do is learn how patterns work/to sew and have some ability to sculpt, then glue the parts together.

Yes! This turned out amazingly. I'm so sorry I forgot to comment when I first seen it, life has been hectic.

You did an amazing job on this, I just love the little tuffty ears so much and the end of his tail is fantastic. I can't wait to see it in person I bet it's even more wonderful.

Hellow, hey how do you get the face and details and such to look so clean and smooth? Like what tools are used?

i use the tools made for working with sculpey, with the rubber tips on one end and metal ball on the other. Most easy way to smooth sculpey details and surface is to brush it with vegetable oil before you bake it, you can also sand it after too.

most of my dolls started out from a pattern for a sitting cat, that i then cut up/ modified.

It is gorgeous! But I will critique you now! (I am kidding n.n)
I want to soggest you to put a lot of varnish on the eyes to avoid paint that white balls. I think it is better, but, I am only suggesting n.n

yes, I use varnish but it doesnt catch the light as mutch as i'd like. I want to start useing glass eyes instead, than i dont have to worry about varnish and it would give the eyes more depth too.
