2013 Update

Journal Entry: Mon Jan 21, 2013, 4:31 PM

Commission Info:

Commissions are available from me through Etsy only at this time.
[link]
If you are interested please "Watch" me on Etsy to catch a commission listing.
They will go up occasionally as i have time.

Types of Custom Listings/Commissions I do:

1. Custom 10" creature dolls - $150

2. Custom color mini dragons, 5" tall - $100

3. Large custom soft sculpture dragon - $200-$350

Currently For Sale: [link]

Made-To-Order:
-Custom color mini dragon

In the works:

Sold Made-To-Orders:
- Comet Moth Dragon
- Amber Gryphon

Pre-made sculptures:
-Silver/White orb dragon
-Gold/Black orb dragon

Trade:
Morph sculpture (needs wings)

Please note: these creations are NOT fully poseable. Just wings and tails are wired and can be gently posed. The large dragon sculptures are the least posebale beacuase of the high ammount of detail put in. These are not meant to be thought of as toys to be handled often, but rather like a peice of artwork.

I suppose, I have a full work load for at least the next 5 weeks, so you will have time also if you wan to save up.
If you would rather make a payment ahead of time, note me and we can work it out.

I don't get why people are complaining about the price
it seems pretty reasonable for all the time, detail, and effort it takes to make these, not to mention there custom.
I mean hey you wont find these at walmart.

Don't feel bad, DA is a community of artists, they should know, and respect the creative process.
That said, I've seen other artists open up X number of commission slots a month and adjust them as needed. From what I've gathered you can do one every other month to give you Your 'bread and butter work' and 'free time' to be creative. How else are we to see something new that we want to buy and own?

On the creative side, I'd like to say I've yet to see another Phoenogriff before, and that will probably be a piece I'll want... if you're still doing them a year or two from now. Just started a new job, back bills and what not ^^;.

Ok, off to go drool through the windows at your shop... I'll pay for a window cleaner - which mostly means I'll just wipe the drool off with my sleeve :innocent whistle:

I know exactly how you feel. That's the same reason I've stopped taking commissions because I was doing other peoples art & not mine own. And getting commissions for the same thing over & over :( I'm still kicking myself for missing out on the last time you took commissions but I would be happy to own anything you make. I just want something in your style & don't really care what it is LOL. Wish I would have bought something back when you had stuff in your Etsy store but I never had money then :( So next time you make something you want to make & list it I'm going to try & grab it ^_^

Well, that's good to hear :)
I'm looking forward to making my own stuff and having a chance to experiment. Maybe you will like my new stuff more and will be good you waited :D

Well, I'm looking forward to seeing what your own inspiration brings us.
By the way, your icon looks... familiar, somehow. :D
